FINANCE: NHS Bournemouth and Poole delivered an underspend of £5.4m and exceeded its management costs savings target by £71,000 during 2010-11.
The primary care trust’s end of year financial statements reveal it met all of its financial duties for the year and stayed within its £570m revenue resource limit.
It spent £6.4m on management costs during the year, against a management cost ceiling of about £6.5m which represented a reduction of £378,000 on 2009-10. The actual expenditure reduction was £449,000, £71,000 ahead of target.
