PERFORMANCE: The Buckinghamshire health system has been given an amber “performance under review” rating by the South Central strategic health authority.
Board papers from the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire primary care trust cluster show Buckinghamshire PCT was also rated amber, with concerns around finance and activity, 18 week referral times and cancer access indicators.
Oxfordshire was given the same rating. The SHA identified concerns around finance and activity, delayed transfers of care, and emergency quality indicators for stroke and accident and emergency.
The board heard that Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust was rated amber, while the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and Oxfordshire Learning Disability Trust was rated green.
