PERFORMANCE: Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG was formally authorised by the NHS Commissioning Board on Tuesday 22 January with two conditions.

The conditions related to the CCG needing to develop a “clear and credible integrated plan” and its financial plan (see box below for details).

All conditions imposed by the commissioning board will be reviewed prior to 31 March and quarterly thereafter.

The CCG is now required to develop a rectification plan that sets out how the CCG intends to discharge its conditions and agree this with the commissioning board’s local representative director by 8 February 2013.

Conditions the CCG still needs to clear

  • 3.1.1B - The CCG has a clear and credible integrated plan, which  includes an operating plan for 2012-13, draft commissioning intentions  for 2013-14 and a high-level strategic plan until 2014-15.
  • 3.1.1C – The CCG has detailed financial plan that delivers financial balance, sets out how it will manage within its management allowance, and any other requirements set by the NHS CB and is integrated with the commissioning plan
