PERFORMANCE: Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust recorded five breaches of the Department of Health’s guidelines on mixed sex accommodation last month.

Latest data for September – based on returns from all 167 acute trusts in England – show the trust had a breach rate of 0.4.

By region, the majority of breaches, 440, were in NHS London followed by the NHS South East Coast with 302.

The worst offenders were Barts and The London NHS Trust with 260 breaches and NHS Trust and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust with 190.
