PERFORMANCE: Just 79.2 per cent of the foundation’s admitted patients completed in October were treated within 18 weeks, against a national target of 90 per cent, latest Department of Health figures show.

The FT’s recorded performance against the target in October was the ninth lowest in the country, and the second lowest in the North West.

It was preceeded, both in the national rankings and in the region, by Wirral University Teaching Hospital FT, which treated 79 per cent within the timeframe.
