This is the latest in a series of interviews with senior healthcare leaders, which are available exclusively to HSJ Insight subscribers.
Stacey Keegan heads up specialist orthopaedic trust Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt – a role she took up at the beginning of the covid pandemic.
She began her career as a trauma and orthopaedic nurse in the 1990s, rising through the management ranks at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham before taking on a secondment as interim chief nurse at RJAH in 2019.
She speaks to HSJ about the importance of the inclusion agenda, her life as a gay chief executive, and how both have shaped her leadership style and the trust’s services.
