Flamboyant chef Keith Floyd may have died this month but his memory is living on, at least in one hospital.

Chefs at Nottingham City Hospital had a Keith Floyd themed day last week, cooking with recipes from one of the great man’s books and using locally sourced food.

On the menu in the hospital restaurant were beef in red wine and lamb pasties, as well as chickpea curry and chicken tikka.

End Game hopes that the hospital’s chefs’ desire to emulate the eccentric Floyd was limited to his recipes - as Wikipedia tactfully points out, his cooking shows were “marked by a tendency to consume too much wine during the preparation of the food”.
