End Game wonders how trusts will respond to last week’s revelation that younger staff feel the NHS lacks street cred.

As HSJ reported, an NHS South Central investigation revealed many under 30s feel the health service is “uncool”. They complain it offers few perks and is slow and bureaucratic - a sentiment occasionally shared by some of their older peers.

A newshound suggested performance appraisals via Twitter might appeal to the yoof. Buzzwords could be modernised - for example “stakeholder” could be replaced with “bredren”. Or perhaps managers could remove their trouser belts for that essential baggy look.
