PERFORMANCE: The FT has become the third highest reporter of incidents among the capital’s mental health trusts
East London said it had been encouraging the reporting of incidents and had “enhance[d] senior management visibility through regular executive ‘walk around’”.
The trust reported National Patient Safety Agency figures for quarter three of 2010-11 showing the trust was now the third highest reporter, where previously it had been in the bottom quarter.
The trust continues to report serious problems with bed numbers after high rates of admission.
A performance report said “overall occupancy has exceeded the 85 per cent trust target”.
