WORKFORCE: East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust’s midwives have been praised.
In his latest weekly statement, trust chief executive Darren Grayson said: “I would like to congratulate our midwives for the very positive Local Supervising Authority visit we have recently received.
The authority is responsible for ensuring statutory supervision of midwives is undertaken according to Nursing and Midwifery Council standards.
Mr Grayson said: “Their visit highlighted that all women interviewed on the day reported an excellent experience of our maternity services.
“The staff who were interviewed had a positive experience to statutory supervision within the trust,” he added.
