I am sure your article 'NHS funds exclusive GP practices' will make local people and the public very angry, writes Karen Jennings

Offering a "bespoke" service to a chosen number of people goes against the founding principles of the NHS.

We all pay for healthcare through our taxes and have a right to expect equal access to quality GP services. Your article exposes clear evidence of a two-tier system.

We know that in certain parts of the country GP services are hard to find. There is no place in our NHS for GPs to choose the patients they see and treat. These GP practices should be opened up to the benefit of all local people.
