FINANCE: NHS Gloucestershire is on course to achieve its planned year end surplus of £8.7m.
The trust reported a surplus of £4.6m at the end of December. The position includes a year to date underspend on GP contracts, QOF and enhanced services budget of £0.5m which is predicted to rise to £1.2m by the year end. The PCT is overspending by £5.1m with Gloucestershire Hospitals Foundation Trust, it’s biggest provider, but is on plan in commissioning arrangements with 2gether Foundation Trust.
