FINANCE: Great Western Hospitals FT has disputed the amount offered by its local PCTs for activity above contract.
NHS Wiltshire have offered £2.8m, whereas the trust’s view is that £4m will be due after mitigations.
NHS Swindon have offered £3.1m, which is significantly short of the forecast after mitigation of £9.6m.
The trust is forecasting a surplus of £258k, which is £1.1m less than plan, and notes that levels of payment by the PCTs for activity above contract is the main risk to this position.
