PERFORMANCE: The Care Quality Commission is to remove compliance actions from Heatherwood and Wexham Park NHS Foundation Trust following an unannounced inspection.
In her report to December’s board meeting, chief executive Philippa Slinger said the CQC visited the trust to follow up an earlier inspection in June.
She said: “The inspection particularly focused upon the clinical areas and standards that had been previously assessed as non-compliant, resulting in compliance actions.
“The trust has now received the final reports in relation to the follow-up inspection which indicate that the trust is compliant in each of the areas of previous concern.”
The trust, which has the worst possible governance rating, has formally told Monitor about the findings. Ms Slinger said the compliance actions would be removed from Monitor’s risk rating calculation.
