The Department of Health's latest offering to the human resources community, which is gearing up for the largest pay reform ever, is an educational video produced by early implementer site Aintree Hospitals trust.
The short film, featuring the first four months of implementation, was produced by the trust's Agenda for Change project manager, Jo Rafferty, to share with other early implementers. However, a DoH pay reform policy adviser was apparently so impressed that 600 copies were distributed.
Ms Rafferty says the film started as a video diary.'It soon mushroomed into something more than a simple diary of events. [It had] a structure and a script, and really captured the reaction to Agenda for Change by staff at all levels.'
A second edition, with progress updates on reform at the trust, is in production. The idea was dreamed up by HR director Carol Sutton and was filmed, edited and produced in the medical photography department.
