Contracts worth more than£1.9bn to install and run electronic patient records have been awarded to Accenture and Computer Sciences Corporation.CSC won a 10-year contract for the North West and West Midlands, and Accenture was awarded a contract for the Eastern region.Accenture has already won the£1.1bn contract for the North East.Only one contract, for the Southern region, has been put back until January.Remaining bidders for the deal are Fujitsu, SchlumbergerSema and PlexusCare.
