Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells trust has been told to clean up its act following a Commission for Health Improvement clinical governance review. It found inadequate cleaning standards in some patient areas and poor compliance with infection control procedures.The report says increasing workloads as staff try to meet targets and achieve financial stability have compromised standards of care.But it praises work to involve patients and highlights work with a prostate support association.The trust welcomed the report, saying it had an action plan to make improvements.
