'The PCT challenge of driving forward choice at the point of referral' is an HSJ conference specifically for PCTs. It is designed to give practical solutions for planning and implementation to provide quality and highly effective choice. Issues to be discussed include the commissioning challenge of dealing with the complexity of demand and capacity, what criteria will be important to patients in making their choice, and how the GP's role will be affected by offering choice.
