Healthcare for London: Reflections on leadership, lessons and legacy is a detailed analysis of the most ambitous, wide-ranging and controversial reconfiguration initiative of recent times.

The study of the programme, set up by Lord Darzi in 2007, was released by the NHS London strategic health authority after it was abolished on 31 March. No longer having a website to publish the study, the leadership of the body asked HSJ to publish the report online.

The review is the strategic health authority’s own take on where the Healthcare for London programme succeeded and failed.
