Letters

I have worked in primary care for seven years, surviving fundholding, having three jobs last year and completing a part-time degree in healthcare management.

I have contacted many health related companies for sponsorship to cycle 240 miles in five days for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, but have received negative feedback. I have seen many press releases about sponsorship of companies and/or groups of individuals, but why do health companies never want to sponsor one individual?

I need over£2,500 before 18 October to take part; I have already raised£1,200 and paid£250 for my own expenses.

Is any company willing to sponsor me for this challenge of a lifetime?
