Stephen Eames has been appointed chief executive of Cheshire and Wirral Partnerships trust, a specialist mental health and learning disabilities trust.
Mr Eames was previously chief executive of North Staffordshire Hospital trust.
Hilary De Lyon has been appointed chief executive of the Royal College of GPs, replacing Sarah Thewlis, who has taken the same post at the Nursing and Midwifery Council.Ms De Lyon was formerly chief executive of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
Hamilton Anstead is the new chair of the community care board of the Independent Healthcare Association.
County Durham and Tees Valley strategic health authority has appointed six non-executive directors: Katie Bosworth is vice-president of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists;
Brian Docherty is a retired Durham GP who was vice-chair and latterly acting chair of the former County Durham and Darlington health authority; magistrate Russell Hart was non executive director of Tees HA;
Margaret Kirby, formally of the Department of Social Security; Rita Taylor, Darlington borough council social services department's children policy and performance manager;
and John Williams, former non-executive director of South Durham Healthcare trust.
Ron Collins is taking voluntary early retirement from the NHS after 38 years of continuous service.He is head of information and commissioning services at South Buckinghamshire trust.
Dr Peter Brocklehurst is new director of the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit.He was previously head of the Perinatal Trials Service.
