Professor Edward Peck has begun work as professor of healthcare partnerships and director of the health services management centre at Birmingham University, one of the leading centres for management education and research in the UK.Mr Peck's last post was director of the institute for applied health and social policy at King's College London.
Angela Hawkes will be the new chief executive of Hartlepool primary care trust. She is currently director of service integration at Easington primary care group.Ms Hawkes has previously been chief executive of South Tyneside primary care group and executive director of Redbridge and Waltham Forest health authority.
