Lezli Boswell has been confirmed as Ashworth Hospital's new chief executive, having been acting chief executive at the high security hospital for 10 months on secondment from Mental Health Services of Salford.
Ralph McCormack has been appointed chief executive of Havering primary care trust and will take up the post on 1 April.
He is currently BHB Community Health Care trust's divisional director of mental health and learning disabilities. He first joined the NHS in Paisley as a nursing assistant.

Sian Bates , currently a non-executive director of Kingston and Richmond health authority, will chair the new Teddington, Twickenham and Hamptons primary care trust when it becomes operational on 1 April.
