Brian Skinner, previously chief executive of Southampton East Healthcare primary care trust, has been appointed chief executive of the new Southampton City PCT; Pauline Quan Arrow takes up post as chair of the PCT.
Grethe Ridgway has taken up the post of nurse director for Southampton City primary care trust, having previously been director of nursing and quality with Southampton Community Health Services trust. She is a member of the Standing Nursing and Midwifery Committee. Howard Carstairs has been appointed finance director at the trust.
Letsie Tilley, currently director of finance and information at Dorset Healthcare trust, will take up post as director of finance and planning at the new West Hampshire trust from July.
Tony McGovern has been appointed chief executive of South Stoke primary care trust, having been chief executive of South Stoke primary care group since it was formed in April 1999. Michael Tappin has been appointed trust chair.
Graham Rich has been appointed chief executive of West Hull primary care trust and will take up post in July. He is currently director of commissioning and primary care at Newcastle and North Tyneside health authority.
Don Marquis, chief executive of Surrey Oaklands trust, has taken up a one-year secondment as joint chief executive and PCT project manager of East Elmbridge PCG and Mid Surrey PCG. Gill Galliano, director of finance at Surrey Oaklands, will act as chief executive and Kate Stepney has been seconded to the post of finance director.
Denise Bott is the new nurse director at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals trust. She is currently acting director of nursing.
Sylvia McGeachie has been appointed chair of North Sefton and West Lancashire Community trust. She recently took up post as chair of Home Start West Lancashire.
