Dr Julie Hollyman is chief executive designate of the new West London Mental Health trust, which will come into effect next April. She is currently chief executive of Broadmoor Hospital Authority, which will merge with Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health trust to form the new organisaton.
Rebecca Howard has been appointed by Royal Liverpool Children's trust as director of nursing at Alder Hey Hospital.
She joins the trust from Manchester Children's Hospitals trust, where she was chief nurse and deputy chief executive, but started her career at Alder Hey as a student nurse.
Nancy Hallett has been appointed as chief executive of Homerton Hospital trust. She is a nurse by profession and has been acting chief executive since Peter Coles was seconded to Forest Health Care trust last year.
Lady Anne McCollum has been appointed as the interim chair of Mater Hospital health and social services trust. She will hold the appointment for a year, while trust chair Dr Maurice Hayes chairs a review of acute hospital services in Northern Ireland.
Consultant gastroenterologist Professor Parveen Kumar has been appointed as a non-executive director of Barts and the London trust, replacing Professor Sandy McNeish as the University of London (St Bartholomew's and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry) representative. She is also a non-executive director of the national institute for clinical excellence.
Dr Pat Price, a consultant clinical oncologist and expert on molecular imaging, has joined Manchester's Christie Hospital trust to lead its new academic department of clinical oncology.
Mary McHugh has been appointed as a legal member of Northern Ireland's Mental Health Commission, which reviews the care and treatment of people suffering mental disorders. Ms McHugh works for a firm of solicitors and has a particular interest in family and human rights law.
