Clive Clark has been appointed jointly by Sheffield social services and Community Health Sheffield trust as director of newly integrated mental health services for adults. He previously worked for Barnsley health authority on service integration.
Gary Belfield has been appointed chief executive of The Princess Alexandra Hospital trust. He is an assistant director working at London regional office and was previously deputy chief executive of Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup. Mr Belfield takes over from John Wilderspin, who has taken up a new role working on modernisation for the Department of Health.
Graham Bennett is to become the new chief executive of Warwickshire health authority. He is joint chief executive of Birmingham health authority. Warwickshire HA hopes he will be able to take up his new post by the end of the year.
Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham health action zone has a new director. Kathryn MacDermott will take up the permanent post in December, when a secondment to the role from Southwark community care forum ends.
Colin Maclean will be the new chair of Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospitals trust.He takes over from Dr Peter Phillips at the end of the month. Mr MacClean is a former director general of the Meat and Livestock Commission. He joined the HA last year.
Ceredigion and Mid Wales trust has confirmed four non-executive directors: Nick Busk, a retired management consultant and former general manager of Crewe District health authority, Emlyn Thomas, a retired economic devolpment officer for Dyfed county council and member of Ceredigion community health council, Mary Griffiths, a former chair of the CHC and Professor John Mattnews, who is also retired.
