Andy Benstead has stepped into the new post of patient transport services staff training officer for East Anglian Ambulance trust.

Basil Jeuda, a qualified chartered accountant and former Labour Party parliamentary candidate, has became chair of Mersey Regional Ambulance Service trust.

Harrow and Hillingdon Healthcare trust chair Anthony Woodbridge has been reappointed for three years.

Richard Worrall has been reappointed as chair of East Berkshire trust for two years. He has led the trust since its inception in April 1992.

North Wales health authority has a new non-executive director, Pauline Wood, former chair of North East Wales community health council.

West Suffolk Hospitals trust has two new non-executive directors - barrister Judith Lancaster and engineer Colin Hilder. Ms Lancaster was a non-executive director of Norfolk Mental Health Care trust, a post she gave up at the end of October.

Laurie Caple, former chief executive of Northumbria Ambulance Service trust, and John Wilby, former chief executive of the Scottish and London ambulance services, have formed an international management consultancy, Lifenet EMS International Limited.

Dr Caron Grainger has been appointed medical director of Warwickshire health authority.

Her previous post was public health consultant for West Midlands regional office.
