Stephen Eames (above), chief executive of Havering Hospitals trust, has moved to a new job as project director for acute and specialist services in West Hertfordshire for a year. Mr Eames will take the role of chief executive of two trusts - St Albans and Hemel Hempstead and Mount Vernon and Watford.
Wolverhampton Health Care trust has appointed a sexual health promotion specialist to work among the black community in the town. Hyacinth Rowe previously managed the Mount Shiloh health advisory centre, a Wolverhampton-based community project educating African-Caribbeans on issues including high blood pressure, sickle cell disease, diabetes, obesity and heart disease.
Wolverhampton Health Care trust also has a new chair. Jane Isaacs is a partner in a housing and community consultancy and a visiting lecturer in Wolverhampton University's business school and the Open University's voluntary sector management programme. She was previously a non-executive director of Wolverhampton health authority.
Bernard Kingston, chair of South Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service trust since its establishment in 1992, has been reappointed. Sandra Holland, parliamentary assistant to MP Caroline Flint, joins the board as a non-executive director.
Patricia Smail, a researcher at the University of Wales, Cardiff, and Brian Clements, a British Steel fitter and Blaenau Gwent county councillor, have been appointed non-executive directors of Nevill Hall and District trust.
