Professor Elaine Murphy has been appointed chair of the King's Fund's mental health programme, 'Working Together in London'.
Ms Murphy, chair of City and Hackney Community Services trust, replaces Lord Hunt. She is also UK adviser on mental health to the World Health Organisation.
Adrian Matthews has been appointed general manager of patient and courier transport services for East Anglian Ambulance trust.
Mr Matthews has worked for the ambulance service for seven years.
Southampton and South West Hampshire health authority has a new non-executive director. She is Kiki Maurey, a senior director of Southampton Common Purpose.

John Ferguson has been elected chair of the British Medical Association's armed forces committee. He is a lieutenant colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps and medical director of the Prescription Pricing Authority. Brigadier Martin Daly has been elected deputy chair.

Stephen Burke has been elected chair of the Association of London Government's new health and social services panel. He works as a public relations consultant for the voluntary sector.
Jane Cooke has become chair of Frimley Park Hospital trust. Ms Cooke is a qualified solicitor with a background of working for community health councils.
Susan Wood, director of the post-licensing division of the Medicines Control Agency, has died at the age of 46. Dr Wood worked for the Department of Health for 15 years and was recognised as a driving force behind the development of pharmacovigilance - a process for ensuring the safety of medicines - both in Britain and internationally.
