Care worker Sheena Carle (left) and Hilary Monger try out the new Thunderama at The Towse, a therapeutic daycare centre for people with learning disabilities in East Grinstead, Surrey, run by the Lifecare trust.

The Thunderama combines light with karaoke and optimusic - a system for making music by breaking coloured beams of light.

The new facility is designed to complement sensory rooms at the centre and promote selfexpression among users.
