A public dispute between the foundation trust and primary care trust in Bournemouth over payments under payment by results has been settled. HSJreported that Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals foundation trust was set to turn away up to 1,800 non-urgent patients in its dispute with Bournemouth Teaching PCT over£6.3m. Settlement came after Monitor called the trust, PCT and South West SHA into a meeting last week. The PCT agreed to pay the trust an undisclosed amount. The trust agreed to resume normal service and accept all referrals from Monday.
