The Health Foundation has re-launched its website with a broader range of content and practical case studies.
The Health Foundation has re-launched its website, with a broader range of content aimed at healthcare professionals and policy makers seeking to improve the quality of healthcare in the UK and beyond.
As well as expanded information about the foundation and its work, the site features practical case studies of people and organisations we have supported. These include Debbie Smith, who is working to improve local services for teenage patients with diabetes at Western Cheshire primary care trust, and Dr Makani Hemadri, who is introducing a one-stop same day service for all day and short stay patients at Scunthorpe General Hospital. At the end of each case study we extract key learning that can be applied elsewhere.
In the new features section, you can find articles on the big issues in quality improvement by key opinion leaders such as Harry Cayton, national director for patients and the public at the Department of Health, Tony Bell, chief executive of Royal Liverpool Children's trust and Carol Haraden, vice president of the US-based Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
We have also introduced topic pages which bring together news, case studies, features, data and more on the subjects of clinical measurement, patient safety, leadership, international comparisons and patient engagement.
