The Healthcare Commission has appointed Anna Coote as head of patient and public involvement. Anna is currently director of health policy at think tank the King's Fund.
Birmingham Children's Hospital chief executive Sandy Bradbrook is leaving to become project director of the Black Country review. He leaves the hospital after three years, having led it from a one-star to threestar rating.
Malcolm Philip has been appointed director of workforce development at the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health.
He has been an independent human resources consultant since 1999, and prior to that was director of HR at Bethlem and Maudsley trust.
