Jean Crookes has been appointed senior consultant at healthcare analysts CHKS.

She joins from Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals trust, where she was assistant finance director. She will have specific responsibility for CHKS's payment by results programme.

Richard Bourne has been appointed chair of Essex Rivers Healthcare trust. Richard will be giving up the role of chair at Essex Ambulance Service trust, which he has held since 2003. He is a Labour councillor on Colchester borough council and Essex county council.

Anne Fenech has been named international fellow in social and recreational at the Institute of Complex Neuro-Disability, the academic arm of the Royal Hospital for Neurodisability.
