Chris Town, chief executive of Greater Peterborough Primary Care Partnership, has been appointed to the post of project director leading the configuration of a new primary care trust for Cambridgeshire combining the existing six PCTs. Deputy chief executive Angela Barr takes over as acting chief executive.
John Lawler has been named chief executive of Harrogate and District foundation trust.
He will join from Calderdale and Huddersfield trust where he is deputy chief executive and executive director of service development. John has also been a school teacher and a statistician.
Professor Thomas Hanahoe has been appointed chair of West Hertfordshire Hospitals trust. Thomas is pro vice chancellor at Hertfordshire University.
