Is there anyone out there with experience of writing wills with people with learning disabilities?

Nursing colleagues at Doncaster and South Humber Healthcare trust are keen to develop principles and practice guidelines, preferably based on good evidence, about how to involve people with severe learning disabilities in drafting their own wills. Clearly this raises fundamental issues about basic rights and freedoms as well as capacity and consent. We have failed to find good evidence about will-making practice.

I would be pleased to hear from anyone willing to share their experiences.
