The Patients Association is planning to draw up a 'wish list' of items to include in a new Patient's Charter. The association is chaired by agony aunt Claire Rayner, who disagreed publicly with television executive Greg Dyke when he presented plans for a new charter last year. The PA says the plans for a basic charter backed by local charters would leave more issues to local management and rob patients of some 'rights' they have come to expect. Patients can send three ideas to the PA, which will forward them to politicians.
