People who do not qualify for social care are struggling with a poor quality of life, according to a report published today by the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
The State of Social Care in England found that younger disabled people and frail older people who are not eligible for support and are unable to rely on family or friends or pay for care services themselves are left to cope with everyday life, with some virtually trapped in their own home.
