A policeman blocks the way after a series of explosions at a fuel depot in Hertfordshire.

Managers paid tribute to NHS staff who took were involved following the Buncefield oil depot blasts on Sunday.

Hemel Hempstead General Hospital received 41 casualties, the majority of whom suffered cuts and bruises as a result of the blast, with two patients admitted for observations.
