I read with interest the article by Anna Donald (opinion, page 15, 12 April). I to have been diagnosed with breast cancer and totally agree with her comments. The medical treatment I received was second to none but as Ms Donald.says it is the relationships that matters.

In my experience I found that additional information and services that would enhance recovery and well-being are available but not promoted. I would like to see an information pack on all these services and how to access them. One particular leaflet for the South East London Cancer Network comes with obsolete contact information.

The NHS needs better co-ordination of the outlying services so patients can feel safe and happy both in and out of hospital. Perhaps this needs further investigation and I would like to be one of the first in the queue.
