I couldn't help but notice the photograph of Whipps Cross University Hospital trust's accident and emergency white board (news, page 5, 3 April) containing patients' names, age and sex.

Looks like some trusts are struggling with guidelines safeguarding personally identifiable patient information - as set out in the Caldicott standards.
