PERFORMANCE: Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust has suspended its reporting of referral to treatment elective waiting times data.
The east London trust suspended reporting its incomplete patient pathway data last month after “technical problems”. It is not expected to begin reporting them again until April.
Cancer and diagnostics waits have not been affected.
The data reporting issue is thought to have affected 35,000 patients and the organisation is assessing whether any patients have suffered harm as a result. City and Hackney CCG minutes revealed of the 19,000 assessed so far, no patient harm had been identified.
Monitor’s intenstive support team for RTT times is working with the trust.
