Ealing and NW London Hospitals merger proposed for next April

A report to the North West London Hospitals Trust board in September said the full business cases would be presented to the boards of both trusts this month, and an NHS London meeting would consider the bid on 25 October.

The report from chief executive David McVittie said: “The revised version of the FBC demonstrates that the merged trust will deliver a 1 per cent surplus of £5.2m by 2015-16.”

The new merged trusts aims to be authorised by September 2015.

It narrowly missed being “escalated” to the department of Health for falling behind its application targets.
