Your list of the 50 most influential people is notable for the low proportion of women: only seven out of 50.

In a week where Britain's position in the World Economic Forum's global gender gap index has fallen, it is saddening to see that women are not being rated as influential within the NHS.

But does this say something about the panel of judges? Only two out of 11 are women. You could have chosen a panel where there was gender equity. Surely, HSJ, you can do better?
