STRUCTURE: Imperial College Healthcare Trust has a low “total activity and income per unit floor area compared to other trusts”, a report said.

The report added: “To match the best income levels per unit floor area would require a reduction in the estate floor area and approximately one third whilst maintaining current activity levels.
“Occupancy costs, depreciation and asset value are all high particularly in comparison to none London trusts reflecting the high building and land values in the London area.”

But the report said Imperial was “significantly better” than many other large London trusts on energy performance.
