PERFORMANCE: Stroke standards are still proving hard to meet at James Paget University Hospitals Foundation Trust, the governors’ council heard.

On the available data for the third quarter, only 76 per cent of stroke patients were scanned within 24 hours, against a standard of 100 per cent.

Meanwhile 27 per cent were scanned within one hour against a target of 50 per cent, and 56 per cent were admitted to a stroke unit within four hours against a target of 90 per cent.
