PERFORMANCE: An acute trust is under pressure to meet the four-hour A&E target after a six per cent rise in attendances

North West London Hospitals Trust’s performance stands at 96.99 per cent with performance for December at 93.79 per cent.

The latest report put A&E attendances as six per cent up on December 2009, with the majority of the increase being seen out of hours.

It said attendances overall were up 15 per cent with NHS Harrow creating the majority of the overperformance, with 59 per cent more attendances than planned.
