A cluster of five London clinical commissioning groups has appointed a single accountable officer.

Andrew Bland is the new accountable officer for Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark CCGs. He will take up the post in April.

Mr Bland will also become lead for the south east London sustainability and transformation partnership, replacing Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation Trust chief executive Amanda Pritchard.

Ms Pritchard remains one of the three members of the leadership team for the STP and chair of local provider federation board.

Mr Bland is currebtly chief officer for Southwark CCG and interim chief officer for Greenwich. Lambeth, which is also part of the south east London STP retains its accountable officer Andrew Eyres, who is also accountable officer for Croydon CCG, which is part of south west London STP.

Bromley CCG chair Andrew Parson said: “We are delighted with the appointment of Andrew Bland to this important new role. He has already been playing a key leadership role in south east London and we believe this appointment will leave us best placed to ensure the success of our new collaborative arrangements.”
