An anecdote from a good friend:

At a meeting with seven others, a colleague notices that the large clock in the room is still an hour ahead.

A discussion ensues as to how to change the time, surpassing the agenda of the meeting.

"How will we change it?" asks one.

"We need to phone estates", says another. He does.

Estates helpdesk (that makes nine people) phones her supervisor (ten people now).

Two porters are dispatched (twelve) "to assess the situation".

Next question (in all seriousness): "Who is in charge of clocks?"

Colleague thirteen enters the room with a step ladder. One of the three porters holds the ladder whilst the other climbs up and retrieves the clock.

Now for pure poetry: "What is the correct time?" All offer various options of accuracy whilst colleague thirteen holds the clock.

Correct time is retrieved from the speaking clock from Switchboard (fourteen plus a virtual friend).

Colleague thirteen quips that if he had included changing the time in his job description it may have got him a higher banding in Agenda for Change.
