FINANCE: North East Hampshire and Farnham clinical commissioning group has agreed a target surplus of £700,000, cut down from an original proposal of £1.2m.

May board papers said the plan was agreed with the NHS England local area team in April.

The CCG’s quality innovation productivity and prevention savings plan was £7.2m.

“Given that a number of the healthcare contracts for 2013/14 have yet to be agreed and the requirement to ensure effective reporting from the new ledger, performance for the year to date and the budget will be reviewed and the budget revised on the basis of a full review of the first quarter’s results in July 2013,” the board papers said.
